Venue: Denver, Colorado

Date: September 18-21, 2003

Weather: high of 80 and low of 55

Reason: Work

Experience:

Denver, what can I say. Its pretty nice. Its nice to see some mountains. I know its a little crazy, but you don't see any mountains where I live. Just plain flat field. You can actually see the horizon where ever you stand as long as you're not in the city.
Well, it started pretty good. This was my first time in the city and the state. When I think about Denver I think about snow, skiing, and hot chocolate. I guess I read too much romance novels. Anywayz, its totally different from what I expected. Oh, I love the mountains and the sceneries, but one thing that got me (which someone told me but I just forgot) was the altitude. I believe my boss told me that not to exert myself up there because its up high in the mountains. From what I learned, Denver is located at the highest point of the State.
I thought I was just totally out of shape (which I am) when I can't even walk that far carrying a box or so. I get tired so easily. I was so dehydrated too! I think I drank too many water and still I felt thirsty. I really felt sick that weekend. Because of that I didn't enjoy my visit up there in Denver.

NOTE FOR MYSELF:
Drink lots and lots of water and do not exert myself the next time I go up there. ^_^
